Review of 2024
Because the author is a non-native English speaker, the grammar may be incorrect.
2024 is almost over. Let’s look back on.
April – Selected as a member of iGi

I passed the selection test of iGi, a famous indie game incubation program and became a fourth member! I don’t know, but the pass rate might be a few percent. It took me a few weeks to accept the fact that I had passed.
July – Quit pixel art and got the interview I had longed for

The main curriculum of iGi began and eventually I quit pixel art style. The graphics turned hand-drawn animation instead. In other words, I renewed the entire graphics! I was happy I made it by BitSummit in July.
Had such a great time that I made lots of friends and got interviewed by Famitsu! I’ve longed for getting interviewed.
September – Last-Ditch Effort

TGS(Tokyo Game Show) came shortly after BitSummit. My game turned authentic Metroidvania this time, contrary it was a standard platformer. Plus, I added resort-related stuff a lot, like Photo Album, Todo List, etc. I assert it must be the busiest time of my life!
October Graduation of iGi

I graduated iGi with a lot of learning many lessons… and a few regrets wishing if I had done better.
November – Sudden decision of website renewal

I know I don’t have time to waste, but I couldn’t help myself to get working on the renewal of my website. It’s about time to do that because it’s been 7 years since the last renewal(2017). I hope I’ll make it impressive one with full of animation, even if it’ll become less convenient.
Conclusion
I can say 2024 was the year of iGi. I remember those days full of learning, surprises and getting along with the fellow members. I used the phrase “The busiest time of my life” countless times, though.
And above of all, I was happy I made lots of friends!
What if the next year would be…
…not productive, contrary to 2024? I’ll be in trouble when I write a blog “Review of 2025”.
